God Save Mike
Super Mike World 2 is in shambles, because of me. It is the hard truth. All of the main categories between Mike and Boss (the ones that people play) It is Me, Me, Me, Me. And I’m ahead by big margins. Any% Mike, almost 8 seconds, 100% Mike, 34 SECONDS. At least it’s closer in Boss. But a lot of runners don’t even find Boss fun anymore because of how fast thoses run are. Unfortunately if something doesn’t change the community… well it’s going to die. We need to bring people back with actually good full game Category extensions, not bullcrap like Triple Mew, good categories. At the moment, the only person I could see taking my dominanation is IHeightEight, and I hope she does because her potential is sky-high. (no pun intended) So that is how we save the community. Get seriously fun category extensions, and get some competition for the community. Thank you for reading
And about Max Score and Robo-Mike: For Max Score, it’s just grab all of the coins, which is a pain to remember where all of the coins are. In my opinion, Max Score should be moved to Category Extensions, as it just doesn’t fit with the other categories. I would say a similar thing for NG+ Extra Tabs (I’m sure more then one runner here didn’t even know about it until now, I didn’t until a few months ago) And for Robo-Mike: It has all of the tech right there and yet Maxy and TYS are the only two to ever submit a time. If your into the movement of him, cool, but most of the community really isn’t. It’s just, “Find spots to clip into walls and control jump heights” It’s cool casually, but it probably just gets repetitive after a while of doing the same thing. It is why no one has every really run it.
